I was lucky enough to escape to Iceland at the start of March 2020, before all these lock downs for Corona/Covid and I’m so thankful I did, because this is truly a breathtaking place – and should be top of the list for any traveller out there looking to explore unbelievable worlds!

Iceland, the land of Fire and Ice, has some of the most beautiful, natural features I have ever seen. From the icy waterfalls to the black beaches and volcanic rocks, it has a bit of everything.

Unfortunately my trip was a little short and rushed, meaning I didn’t get to see or film as much as I would have liked, but that just gives me an excuse to go again!

It took about two weeks to go through all the footage and edit the film, finishing with the grade and sound design.

As a film editor, this was one of my favourite projects to work on as the visuals were so spectacular.

So grab a cup of tea or a coffee, and escape from these crazy times for a few minutes.
